Available Position: Office Manager 

Location: Atmore, Alabama (new office opening soon)

Staring Pay: $13 hr - $15 hr

Qualification: Must have a HS School diploma. Associate degree preferred. Computer and customer service skills essential. Must be organized and able to multi task. 

Preferred Experience: Work in a medical office setting. Secretarial experience.  Previous experience working with individuals with mental illness. 

Duties and Responsibilities: The position will be located at our new Atmore Outpatient office location. The Office Manager (OM) is at the front desk and greets/signs-in all consumers when they enter for appointments, and as the consumer completes appointments, the OM will schedule the next appointment with the consumer. OM answers incoming calls in a professional manner and directs them to the appropriate staff person. OM checks insurance/Medicaid/Medicare status, collects all needed consumer information at initial appointments and updates consumer information at future appointments. OM makes reminder calls to consumers for doctor appointments and insures that all information is in order before the appointment. OM is in charge of ordering office and janitorial supplies and organizing them when delivered. Collects fees for services at check in and oversees office petty cash for incidental purchases.
